EVENT DATE: Oct 11, 2012
DEADLINE TO REGISTER: Oct 01, 2012
A 120-mile, two-day bicycle ride on October 11-12.
This Year’s Project is a great one: We plan to fund the clean water project for Destiny Village orphanage in Pierre Payen, Haiti. The orphanage is right on the coast and all of their water is brackish (salt water). Right now the directors drive their truck to town and purchase drinking water for the 40 plus children. In addition, the salt in the water destroys their washing machines, etc. We plan to install a desalinization system that will provide clean water for beautiful kids of Destiny Village. We need to raise about $10,000 for this project!
The date for the 120 for Orphans is Thursday and Friday, October 11 and 12. We will ride 60 miles on both days so a moderate level of training and fitness is recommended. For more information email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Registration cost: $25.
We hope that all riders will be fundraisers. The registration fee only covers the cost of the event.

Thank for caring about orphans and for doing something to improve their lives.
Last year’s event raised over $15,000. 100% of the donations go to the children - no administration costs.
