THE STORY:

Dear Friends and Family:

I am reaching out to ask for your support.

On April 16, 2012 nearly 27,000 runners will start the running of the 116th Boston Marathon - and I will be one of them! A good friend helped arrange for an invitation, I’ll be running to raise money for Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston (BGCB) as part of my experience.

BGCB supports children and teens in need and provides - An opportunity for them to build strong character and realize their full potential as responsible citizens and leaders - A safe haven filled with hope and opportunity, ongoing relationships with caring adults and life-enhancing programs - A comprehensive approach to youth development focusing on: Arts, Education, Leadership, Life Skills, Sports, Fitness and Recreation and Technology For more information on Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston please visit www.bgcb.org. I hope you will consider contributing generously to this worthwhile cause.

My fundraising goal for the 2012 Boston Marathon is $2,500. Even the smallest contribution will help build a better future for these inner-city teens. Donating is easy through this website.
