The Push in its broadest terms is communicating a message-through a documentary film by Steven Siig and Tom Day- about the human spirit and raising money for the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation and Reeve-Irvine Spinal Research Center. Grant Korgan is attempting to be the first adaptive athlete to ski into the South Pole.
For Grant, the human spirit is played out in the form of his spinal cord recovery. This journey to the South Pole will take everything to conjure the power to reach the bottom of the Earth.
And, his recovery is being helped by this project through:
This historic South Pole expedition is obviously the physical activity that is propelling his body to new limits.
High Fives is the Non-Profit Foundation which has become Grant's backbone of support and Reeve-Irvine is the center where amazing breakthrough research is transpiring.
Our hope is that our message gets international attention and that those it touches can somehow contribute to the project and help these entities make a difference in millions of people's lives.
Grant will need to make 250,000 pole pushes to make the journey. Be a part of HISTORY and purchase one of the 250,000 needed strokes.
Please go to our website, www.southpolepush.com, to follow the journey and help support the human spirit! Every donation made goes towards the project, the 501.c.3 High Fives Foundation and Reeve-Irvine.
