Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity International builds, rehabilitates and repairs simple, decent houses with the help of homeowner families, volunteers, and donations of money and materials. Often, skilled personnel such as masons and carpenters are employed for specialist jobs.
Habitat has built and renovated more than 400,000 homes around the world, providing more than 2 million people with safe, decent, affordable shelter and has received support from many notable celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres, James Earl Jones and Jamie Lee Curtis.
It is my personal goal, in tandem with ART4GOOD Foundation, Inc. to raise $1,000.00 in direct donations and proceeds resulting from ongoing on-line auctions in 2012, that also promote and support THE ARTS!
