The Armenian Relief Society of Western U.S.A. (ARS) is a non-profit, philanthropic women’s organization dedicated to community and cultural service. In recent years, the ARS has sought to serve victims of domestic violence more effectively through social services and counseling centers, and other community resources, but funding gaps have hindered our efforts for comprehensive assistance. By reaching out to the community and collaborating with other charities, we hope to prevent abusive behavior with awareness campaigns, and reach out and help restore the lives of victims of domestic violence.
The ARS has 27 chapters in California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Utah. Since 1910, the ARS has been instrumental in caring for orphans, educating the youth, empowering women, helping the elderly, assisting victims of disasters, and preserving the Armenian culture and heritage. Help the ARS stop domestic violence.
