HERE'S THE STORY:
Each afternoon across the U.S., 15 million children--more than a quarter of our children--are alone and unsupervised after school. These are some of the key findings from the nation’s most in-depth study of how America’s children spend their afternoons; America After 3PM
An increasing number of parents agree that the current economic conditions have impacted their after school care arrangements with 46 percent stating that it has affected their ability to pay for after school care.
At Inner Child Community Outreach, we strive to help youth actualize their full potential through arts.
Creating a high quality and affordable, arts-based After School Program, would enable us to have a Consistent influence on the youth we serve by following-up on our engaging in-school workshops.
In addition to traditional after-school program activities, ICCO will offer kids instrumental Music Instruction, Dance and Drama classes and a variety of creative writing and communication exercises. These activities are designed to instill confidence, self-respect, awareness, and decision-making skills that will last a lifetime.

ICCO After School Program will help to cultivate this talent through self-discovery and mastery. We are located in an underserved area, and plan to share space with an already existing arts program that offers lessons and after school arts for people who can afford to pay full price for the services.
Our program will be geared towards helping those families who need a sliding scale form of payment without your help; these students may be denied an opportunity to develop their talents. Don’t wait! Donate today and you will help us make a difference in the life of a child.
