Tornadoes ripped through much of the South yesterday, with a majority of the damage reported in the state of Alabama with over 100 people killed, including several in the city of Tuscaloosa alone, where 200-mph winds swept homes off their foundations.
“President Obama declared a state of emergency for the search-and-rescue response in Alabama late Wednesday and said federal officials had their eye on the storms and would offer help as needed.”
Do your part to help those that have suffered from this horrible disaster. We are collecting donations for American Red Cross Birmingham Area Chapter. Working for Groupon, we are grateful for the relationships we have formed with so many great individuals and families in Alabama.
