Tornadoes ripped through much of the South yesterday, with a majority of the damage reported in the state of Alabama “with 131 people killed, including 32 in the city of Tuscaloosa alone, where 200-mph winds swept homes off their foundations.”
“President Obama declared a state of emergency for the search-and-rescue response in Alabama late Wednesday and said federal officials had their eye on the storms and would offer help as needed.”
Do your part to help those that have suffered from this horrible disaster. We are collecting donations for the Governor’s Relief Fund in Alabama, please pledge through this campaign or mail checks directly to his office.
Thank you.
