WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
Hi Gang! I'm a 36 year-old runner from Stuart, Florida on a quest to support children in foster care and adoptive programs. My wife, Laura, and I felt called to do our part and have embarked on a quest to ease the pain and suffering these little ones have to go through at no fault of their own. We've been actively involved in the foster care system for several years now and have seen, first-hand, what difference an individual can make in the lives of these children.
I've been running marathons and half-marathons for several years now and have been fortunate enough to get selected to run the ING New York City Marathon this November. I've decided to raise funds for one of my favorite local charities right here in Florida. Hibiscus Children Center (HCC) is a non-profit organization that has focused their attention on the innocent and helpless children in the cross-hairs of child abuse and neglect for over 25 years. HCC helps infants, children, teens and those young adults that find themselves in the middle of a domestic situation that often endangers their safety, well-being, physiological and psychological future by providing trained and loving foster and adoptive parents to shelter and care for these little lives.
WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
I might not be the best Volunteer or Fundraiser but I'm decent at it and I can't think of a downside of throwing a vote my way.
