Here's Why: We're joining a group of 70 amazing ladies to drive across Europe on the Cash & Rocket (RED) Tour from June 7-10. We start in London on the 7th and then stop in Paris and Milan, ending up in Monte Carlo on the 10th. While we of course look forward to lasting memories & new friends we will make along the way, we're especially excited that we're raising money for (RED) as we've always been huge fans of theirs.
Let us give you some background on (RED) - (RED) was founded by Bono in 2006 to give consumers a choice to make a difference every day with what we buy. They partner with some of the world's most iconic brands including Apple, Coca-Cola & Starbucks to name a few. They've generated over $190 million, every cent of which has gone to work on the ground in Africa and has impacted the lives of 7.5 million people in Ghana, Rwanda, Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa and Zambia. That's truly amazing.
Right now we're at a historic moment in the fight against AIDS - we can end the transmission of HIV from moms to their babies by 2015. To that end, (RED) is focusing all its efforts on helping to deliver this monumental milestone. That's incredible - just think that we can see the first AIDS free generation since HIV was diagnosed 30 years ago.
