Brantley Kate was born just 2 years ago and if I had known then what I know now I would have been overcome with joy, not dissappointment on the day of her arrival. Brantley KAte was born with Down Syndrome and she has been the greatest gift to our family. She has taught us all to appreciate those things we take for granted, patience, unconditional love and how to find joy in the smallest of things. She continues to teach us more about life as she grows into ours.
She is doing wonderful thanks to the many therapists that have assisted her and our family along the way. We owe many thanks to The Bell Center for Early Intervention! It is a non-profit group that serves children with special needs and their families to help them reach their greatest potential. I do not know what we would have done without them... what a blessing they have been in our lives. The Mercedes Marathon is quickly approaching and I am running in a relay team with friends to raise money to help The Bell Center continue to enrich the lives of many other children and families in our community. Won't you join me and help me with my fund raising efforts? No amount is too small!!! The Bell Center and my family greatly appreciate all of your support!!
