With your donation to the Strong Kids Campaign, you make it possible for children and teens to take part in programs that teach them positive behaviors, allow them to explore their talents and help them grow and realize their potential. Thank you for your support and generosity!

Because of your contribution, this year Camping Services YMCA is able to support.....

• Day Camp: Kids in grades K – 8 try a wide range of camp activities, learn about their interests and develop new skills under the careful guidance of Y staff. Learning teamwork and developing the character traits of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, campers learn how to make friends and have fun every day. $125 will provide a week of Day Camp. You provide a sense of joy and belonging to a local youth. $250 will “Saddle Up” 5 Campers into our Saddle Club equestrian program at Ohiyesa. You will help them learn responsibility and empathy.   ​ 
• Overnight Camp: Spending a week away from home is an important rite of passage for children. At Y Camps, overnight campers discover who they are and what they can achieve, while also learning teamwork, problem solving and more. Learning to be independent is healthy for all children and Summer Camp can have life-changing impact on kids. $500 will provide a Camper a full week of Overnight Camp. You will help build confidence and friendship making skills.
• Adventure Camp & Leadership Programs: Kids in grades 7 – 11 have adventures including paintball, tubing, wakeboarding, climbing, and even a three-night wilderness camping experience.  Campers grow emotionally, and accomplish things they never thought possible. With your help, more tweens and teens can overcome fears, build confidence, make new friends, learn new skills while becoming our leaders of tomorrow. $750 will provide two Teens with an experience in Adventure Camp at Camp Nissokone. You will help them conquer fears and learn the value of teamwork. $100 per month will support two young leaders in our Counselor In Training program. You will help instill the values of Leadership and Inspiration for tomorrow’s Camp counselors and mentors.
