Welcome to the Casa Amor Sewing Team Fundraising Page! We want to help children in our villages in Santo Domingo. This is where GO Threads and the 2011 Team Challenge comes in. What is GO Threads? A sustainability initiative of The Global Orphan Project, GO Threads sewing centers are small businesses located in extremely poor areas of the world. The centers create local jobs; produce quality clothing, including children’s school uniforms; and generate profits to help sustain orphan care costs. We are building our first sewing center in Santo Domingo and we need your help.
So what are we trying to do? Raise as many $20 uniform orders as we possibly can, hopefully raising enough to order 500 uniforms. You may ask why a child's school uniform?
