BENEFITING: COASTAL POLICE CHAPLAINCY
EVENT: Cooper River Bridge Run 2012
THE STORY:
The Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy serves the public by providing "a calming, trusted ministry of presence" to those in need after being involved in a crisis situation. Where it is the result of a traffic accident, a murder, a suicide, or any other tragic event, our Chaplains are available to both the first responders and the survivors of an accident where an unexpected death has occurred.
Many people think the CCC is fully funded by government funds because our Chaplains work so closely with the various government agencies that they support. However, this is a misconception. The CCC, as a ministry, is a nonprofit organization funded by donations. Donations from individuals, organizations, corporations, and some government entities.
