HERE'S THE STORY:
World Water Relief (WWR) improves sanitation and hygiene facilities in Schools in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. FIRST, we redevelop the school installing working taps, sinks, water drainage soak pits, hand washing stations, and ultimately a 3 canister UV Light water filtration system. SECOND, our WWR Haitian team conducts health and hygiene class for the entire school. THIRD, we initiate a Saturday Club that addresses the current issues of health and hygiene. Our Leve Konesans (Raising Consciousness) approach is real example of Haitians doing things for Haiti. A sustainable model, where Haitian employees are responsible for all program implementation and maintenance. Last year over 35,000 students benefitted from our programming.
