HERE'S THE STORY:
In early December, a select group of athletes and their supporters will ask the most of themselves physically and mentally in an effort to raise funds to support the Face-to-Face AIDS Project in Malawi. This is an initiative that CrossFit Zürich has joined for the long-term to support the transformation of impoverished communities in Africa into role model communities. 2011 marks the 2nd 24-hour challenge that CrossFit Zürich has organized to support the project.
Our 2010 project made a real difference in Malawi and helped grow the first Youth Group, in the Kang’oma Village.
Our 2011 Goal is a big one … to fund the creation of a Community Outreach Center in the Kang’oma Village. The community center would promote youth groups, adult education, basic healthcare, and sustainable and organic small plot farming. This would be a role model center that would have a huge impact on the literally thousands of residents in the surrounding communities. Please help us make this possible!
