Why?: Running a half marathon... sure, there are probably easier ways to spend more time outside enjoying Nature, but with so many beautiful places to see, I'll look for any excuse I can find.
My goal: train hard and experience as many spectacular places as I can along the way.
About me: Project Director for The Nature Conservancy's Mount Hamilton Project, a one million acre landscape stretching from the doorstep of Silicon Valley to the edge of the Central Valley. I've been in California for 5+ years, and before that worked for the Conservancy in North Carolina and Florida.
