WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
My mother, Donna McNeice, developed the symptoms associated with ALS around December of 2009. The symptoms were mis-diagnosed as a stroke until July of 2010, when the disease was properly diagnosed. On December 17th, 2010, my mother Donna McNeice died from complications due to ALS (http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/berkshire/obituary.aspx?n=donna-mcneice&pid=147305175&fhid=4866).
On October 22, 2011 my friend and former school-mate, John Keator (http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/berkshire/obituary.aspx?n=john-keator&pid=154249963), also died as a result of ALS. I knew nothing about the disease, until these recent losses. I was shocked by the rapid decline that I saw in these two vivacious individuals that loved life and brought joy to so many people that they touched.
I am running in memory of these two wonderful people in my life and to raise awareness about the disease. Please help me in my endeavor.

I will work hard to raise money for ALS and I will work hard to represent the Team ALSMA in the best possible way.
