Hello Coastal Team! I wanted to send a quick reminder to be sure to enter your offline donations into Crowdrise.com so our fundraising total is up to date. It is really easy to do, but just in case you haven’t done it before, after logging in to your Team Page

-- Scroll down to the Organizers Tool Kit

-- Click Enter Offline donations

-- Enter each donation name and amount or the total amount to date

Great progress and look forward to continuing to build the momentum! Right now we have 21 team members; if each team member could raise $1000, we'd EASILY make the $20,000 goal.

Be sure to ask your company/workplace about a corporate donation, too!

Hi Coastal GSR Marathon Teams! Thank you all for joining this effort. Your dedication toward helping Coastal raise funds as a Charity Partner is much appreciated.

So far, we've raised $1669 ... of the 19 charity partners, we've raised the 2nd largest amount thus far and the only team ahead of us had a $2500 corporate donation. If you work for or know of companies that make regular charitable donations, please don't hesitate to hit them up.

Michelle Foster is in the lead for most money raised so far ... thank you Michelle for leading the way!

Last year, one team raised $60,000 so ... the potential here is HUGE!

We are TRULY a team ...please help us hit our goal by sending emails, Facebook posts, tweets, etc to everyone you know. We don't want to 'hit people over the head' and bug 'em but ... please send reminders often. =) We will make up some flyers too.

Also, if you're a runner ... please DO hit your runner friends, running clubs, etc over the head with this and ask them for their support in joining our team.

As a Charity Partner of the OC Marathon, our friends can receive $10 off of the Half and Full Marathon and $5 off on the 5K. These discounts are only good between 1/15/2012 and 3/31/2012 so make sure register early and select Coastal GSR as your Charity when you register!

I'll be sending out periodic updates and we'll be putting together a 'task force' to help with the many facets of this event. Please let me know if you want to help with that (more details after I meet with Beth this weekend on specific tactics). In the meantime, please PROMOTE your team page as often as you can.

If you don't know your specific URL for YOUR fundraising page ... just go to www.crowdrise.com/coastalgsrmarathon .(this is Coastal's main page)... scroll down to The Team ... and click on your pic/name. The URL that appears in the browser is YOUR fundraising page name.
