HERE'S THE STORY:
I want everyone on the Earth to be able to live a sustainable life, and am ready to dedicate my time, energy and effort to help find solutions to make this happen.
By sponsoring me on the Singularity University Graduate Studies Program (SU GSP), you will not only be helping me, but also the billion people whose lives I will positively affect within the next ten years.
On SU GSP, I will learn how combinations of accelerating technologies like AI, Robotics, Nanotech, Biotech, Networks, Bioinformatics and Medicine can be used to address issues like energy, water, health, poverty, pandemics and the environment.
My specialities include a broad knowledge and understanding of engineering and science, skill at turning science into Plain English and the ability to understand technical issues quickly. I am a problem solver and have management skills.
- I'm a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society.
- I have a PhD in Fluid Mechanics (Foam Formation in Low Expansion Fire Fighting Equipment) (Lancaster University, 2001).
- I am Author of the book "It's ONLY Rocket Science - An Introduction in Plain English" - recommended by NASA and Universities.
