Our Mission
Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.
* Helping families become stronger advocates for their children with special needs
* Raising funds for research and education
* Increasing awareness of autism
In 2002 Rebecca and her family drove 3,500 miles across the country to generate attention for autism and to raise funds to establish a school that could help Rebecca and many other children. In September 2003, we achieved our dream by joining together with five others families to create REED Academy in Garfield, N.J. The one-to-one ratio there has made a remarkable difference for Rebecca and all of her fellow students.
Today, The Drive4Rebecca continues to help parents of children with special needs to become stronger advocates, raises funds to help advance research, and supports REED Academy and other other schools so they can continue the amazing work they do for many children and families.
Through Advocacy4All, an initiative of Drive4Rebecca, we help parents become stronger advocates for their children with special needs.
All proceeds from sales of The Special Needs Parent Handbook, by Jon Singer, founder of Drive4Rebecca, benefit Advocacy For All. Through volunteers around the country we have donated copies to hundreds of libraries to provide access to the book to families unable to afford one.
