Last summer, my husband and I traveled to the outskirts of Lima, Peru and volunteered in a home for economically disadvantaged children and teens with disabilities and medical needs. Since then, I've been working to raise money for the young friends I made during my time in Peru.

- Born in Texas but raised on Cape Cod.

Let's get you out of your cubicle and into the Hogar de Saint Francis de Assis and Cener of HOPE in Peru.
Any one can Help Them HOPE. Anyone can volunteer at the Hogar or Education Center in Peru in exchange for a free bed, and three meals a day with the kids and medical volunteers. Or you can help by giving money right now to support the Center for HOPE. Anything -- even ten dollars -- can change the life of one of these kids.

We wanted to see if you're in the neighborhood to bring PURE JOY to a very deserving child's life... A $20 donation will provide a birthday celebration and cake for one of our 25 students- an experience they have NEVER HAD in their life. Can you imagine never getting to celebrate your special day and not ever eating a piece of cake in your entire life? Well, either can us, so we want to change that for our extremely hard working students!
