HERE'S THE STORY:
Once again this year I will be participating in the Furnace Creek 508. This is a 508 mile bike race through Death Valley and the Mohave Desert in which you have only 48 hours to complete. Last year, I also did this race and finished 31stout of over 200 teams.
Participants for the FC508 are encouraged to support various charities. I have chosen for my charity The Center for Missing and Exploited Children. I can think of few things worse than the exploitation of a child and the pain of everyone involved in such a tragic circumstance.
Please consider helping me support the organization whose mission is to serve as the nation’s resource on the issues of missing and sexually exploited children. The organization provides information and resources to law enforcement, parents, and children including child victims as well as other professionals.
