GRASSROOT SOCCER wrote -
This is our 4th consecutive year as an official charity partner of the ING NYC Marathon! We are honored to be a part of this great race and have so many wonderful athletes joining us to fight HIV and AIDS!
Our NYC Marathon Teams have raise over $1/2 million to provide HIV and AIDS education, testing a treatment to thousands of young people. Now Grassroot Soccer is moving forward with the official goal of reaching 1 million youth educated and empowered by World Cup 2014.
Our Marathon runners are key to helping us reach the 1 million by 2014 goal! With every step, every training run, every contribution they secure we are getting closer to an HIV-free generation!
