THE STORY:
Russ Lovell wrote -
Imagination Park being built in Nipomo, CA is very important to our community. It's about kids and parents who are dealing with a disability or illness in their family. This is where they can go to commune, share, and play together.
www.jackshelpinghand.org does so much to help families struggling with an illness, getting to treatments, paying for therapy, and in general picking up where insurance leaves off. This golf tournament is about helping Jack's fullfill their mission.
Yeah, we're knuckleheads on any given day, but on the 28th we're going to put on a great event and reach our goals.
In addition, we're each going to play 5 strokes better than our handicaps and surprise this field of hackers to take top gross!
We're also going to raise more money than anyone else; enough money to use 3 mullies on the course plus have 3 extra for the mulligan raffle. We're going to have two players from our team in the shootout for the million!
This event is going to be the gold standard of golf tournaments from here on...
