Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS) provides victims of sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking with holistic care and the support that they need to recover from their trauma. Based in New York State, GEMS brings much needed attention to the sexual exploitation and trafficking happening within U.S. borders, advocating at the local, state and national level to promote policies that support young women who are at high risk of sexual exploitation or have experienced sexual exploitation.
Founded by Rachel Lloyd, a survivor of sexual exploitation, GEMS has helped hundreds of young women and girls exit the commercial sex industry and develop to their full potential.
Your gift of $50 will cover the college application fee for a survivor of sexual exploitation.
Donate $100 or more for a chance to receive a DVD of the internationally acclaimed documentary Very Young Girls, which pulls the veil back on the buying and selling of American girls for sexual exploitation.
