Event Background:
In an effort to raise funds for local Kiwanis children’s charities the Valley of the Sun Kiwanis Club (VOSK) is hosting a family fun day providing an on-the-field baseball experience with entertainment, educational activities for the entire family, including a special “Run Drugs Out of Town Run” around the ball field.
VOSK is a service organization comprised of caring men and women from all walks of life. Our objective is to bring aid to children in need. The majority of our efforts benefit children in our community, while a portion of the funds we raise also go to help meet Kiwanis International objectives which focus on the special needs of young children from prenatal development to age five. In addition to the numerous Valley charities supported through volunteer time and monetary donations, VOSK sponsors high school Key Clubs, a Junior High Builders Club, and an Elementary School Terrific Kids program.
Event Information:
Home Run 4 Kids, a Kiwanis Family Day at Chase Field, will include general admission to the ballpark, live music, a kids zone with inflatables, Chase Field behind the scenes tours, video tribute to the 2001 World Series Champion Arizona Diamondbacks on the jumbotron, “special guest” appearances, on-field major league batting practice and skills clinics for children ages 5 to 16 years old. Ballpark food and concessions will be available for purchase throughout the event.

Yes! VOSK is a service club that donates thousands of dollars and man-hours each year to Valley charities and causes. VOSK members are part of a global organization of members of every age who are dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.
