THE STORY:
Hi Friends & Family! Thank you for supporting me in running the 2010 NYC marathon. I am so excited to be training for and running this year's famous marathon in the city that I love and live. This year, I am running for a very important and personal cause which is to raise public awareness about melanoma, the most serious form of skin cancer. I am partnering with Jack's Team, a charity dedicated to raising public awareness about melanoma. This organization raises funds dedicated to providing awareness programs, funding research, and promoting healing. My goal is to raise $2,500 to support Jack’s Team and this important cause. For me, this cause is personal. Melanoma has touched my own family on more than one occasion and the losses of those loved ones will be felt forever. This race is my way of remembering our family by making this commitment to them. I will do whatever is possible to support Jack’s Team, to educate, and to work toward creating the awareness that someday will result in a cure. Please honor those lost to melanoma by taking care of your own skin and by donating to my cause. In return I will give my best to accomplishing this marathon and spreading melanoma cancer awareness.
