Dearest Hope to Haiti Donor,


We cannot thank you enough for your overwhelming generosity to Random Acts’ Hope2Haiti 2012 campaign. I hope that you have been following us at www.haiti.therandomact.org as we chronicle how your support is significantly impacting the children and community of Jacmel. While the situation in Haiti remains dire, our projects are receiving funding they desperately need…all thanks to you!

Random Acts is still helping with several wonderful projects conceived and run by Haitians in their home communities. The Jacmel Children’s Center is in the final phases of construction and we fully anticipate completion by the end of 2012 or early 2013, this has been made possible by your donation. The Art Creation Foundation For Children is hoping to move into a much larger facility that they will own, and some of your donations are being to help make that possible. The Faith and Love Orphanage is under construction to expand their facility to provide a secure, loving home for even more children and the Espoir des Enfants orphanage has a new home and hopes to put in a library soon.

The hard earned dollars you donated are disbursed directly from Random Acts to these entities and therefore, directly to the programs they provide. This arrangement allows you to be certain that your funds are being used to impact the children and the community of Jacmel in a truly significant way. We will continue to share with you video and testimonials from our volunteer team about our Haiti experience and ongoing progress.

We made it!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to you we raised $5,000 (and one dollar!) for the Community Center in Jacmel, Hiati!! You are all amazingly generous and kindhearted and awesome, and I can't thank you enough. I'll be in Haiti helping build the community center you have funded from June 14th through the 22nd. Expect pictures and drawings when I get back!

Now I'm sure you're thinking "YAY!! When do we know who wins what?? Where is my drawing?! What is air??"

Some of you have already received your drawings, in both scan and original form, some of you I need to finish and others I still don't know what you'd like! If you need an update (or have any questions) please email me at contact@robbiedraws.com.

In regards to Prints, winners will be notified via crowdrise at the end of fundraising for Hope to Haiti which is July 31st.

As for air, I would hope its mostly oxygen and a mix of other gases that you can breathe without harm.

You guys really rock. I'm so so inspired by your stories and I'm so touched that you are sharing them with me. Thank you for all of your donations. We are so close. Just 5,000 more dollars to raise. Today is my birthday and you guys made it really special for me. Thank you for joining my team. Thank you for helping me raise money for ACS. You guys rock. Really. Thank you. Please keep up the good work. Send this page around to your friends and ask them to donate or even better... do a birthday campaign yourself. It wasn't that hard and even though I haven't met my goal yet, we still raised over $12,000. I'm excited about that.
