In 2006 i begin falling down alot by the time i got diagnosed in january 2009 with  ALS Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis also known as Lou Gehrigs Disease there is no cure very little awareness  my speech was slurred couldn't walk lost use of both hands by 2010 my husband retired to become my fulltime caregiver i'm 100% dependent on him it took time to get his pension at that time als guardian angels stepped in to help us this is why i want to help . I'm asking family & friends please join me by showing your support for this nonprofit foundation it's a great foundation they help ALS people with grants they helped me buy my first van & portable ramps that i use everyday i will be making my team 'MARYS HOPE' my goal is to raise $1500.00 but more is better :) if you can't walk you can donate i'm really excited to be a part of this event it will bless me to see everyone . SAVE THE DATE!
We are planning an ALS WALK to raise funds for the ALS Guardian Angels, a foundation dedicated to giving financial aid to families of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
This is our 1st Annual Walk and we really need your support to make it a success. For those of you who have never participated in a Walk before, this is not a competition or a long distance event. It is simply a group of us coming together at the same time, at a leisurely pace, to walk in honor of those who cannot walk anymore. We welcome wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, kids and dogs. Just come!

Many of us will be walking in honor or memory of a loved one. If any of you have been touched by ALS, maybe you would like to do the same. You can walk as an individual or form a team in honor or memory of your loved one.

 We cannot do this without you. Please help us.
