Our Mission
Support our mission by creating your own fundraiser.
We grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Hope is the first condition that enriches the human experience. Hope is what enables us to believe that the future will be better than the present. And for children with medical conditions, having a wish granted becomes a wellspring of hope. When they experience their wish coming true, they can begin to believe other things that they thought were imposissble can be possible. Hope then becomes a vital part of their healing process.
Since its inception in 1989, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Vermont has granted over 566 wishes. We anticipate granting over 40 wishes in 2012.
