THE STORY:
Max the Match! Give $25 to help Art Sanctuary meet our $25,000 match for excellent arts and literacy in urban Philly!
It’s our new campaign: a five-week CrowdRise blitz to match the $25,000 challenge that lots of donors, including the Rollins Family Foundation and Art Sanctuary’s board members, have put aside to attract others.
Since 1998, we’ve produced and commissioned great arts and arts education in urban Philadelphia, for students, adults, families; from the Kimmel Center to the Detention Center; from music to dance to visual arts and film to literary arts; bringing national artists in and local artists into the light. Visual arts star Theaster Gates calls it “The Black Creative” and the NEA calls us “unique.” Now donors challenge supporters to match $25,000 for a total of $50,000 to keep excellent arts and literacy in urban Philly.
