HERE'S THE STORY:
Hi! Thanks for visiting our page and offering your support for Morningside Shelter!
On Saturday, October 8, 2011 we'll be climbing Mt. Wantastiquet - overlooking beautiful downtown Brattleboro in all its autumn foliage splendor - in support of Morningside Shelter.
Morningside Shelter is the region's only homeless shelter and we house and provide outreach services to some of the hardest to house individuals and families in Windham County and beyond. The shelter operates at full capacity year-round, and has not had an empty bed in the last three years.
A pledge to help us reach our goal would be greatly appreciated and at the same time allow us to continue the important work we do each day with the homeless.
