Going to be in the Fresno, CA area Friday, May 6th? You are cordially invited to attend One Million NIU (New Internet Users) in 2011 Fresno conference. Why Should You Attend? $12,000,000... Helping just 562 more youth graduate from High School will earn/save California over $12,000,000 annually. Internet access points and training in under-served communities is crucial to our economic recovery, improving high school graduation rates, and ensuring future markets for business. Find-out how to merge challenges with opportunity. The conference will bring proven best practice models together in one place. Business, community, school and civic leaders will find the "how-to's" relative to expediting the implementation of best practice models for Internet access and training, while maximizing the use of existing resources. California's One Million NIU in 2011is an initiative to train and connect one million New Internet Users (NIU's) in 2011. NIU conferences are launch points to connecting and training one million people on the internet via The Parent Engagement through Technology model (PE+T). PE+T increases adoption by assisting and informing thousands of new Internet users on the benefits of broadband usage, providing relevance, access and training.
