EVENT: 2012 IMT Des Moines Marathon
EVENT DATE: Oct 21, 2012
THE STORY:
Multiple sclerosis stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. The National MS Society, Upper Midwest Chapter represents 17,000 people with MS in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and several counties in western Wisconsin and Nebraska. We provide programs and services for people living with MS and their families and drive cutting-edge research to find a cure.
We partnered with the IMT Des Moines Marathon to give runners an opportunity to fundraise and bring awareness to the MS movement. Click here to register for the team and get more information. All team members are required to raise a minimum $500 prior to the marathon. In return, members of the Run to Stop MS team receive:
We also welcome runners who want to show their commitment to a world free of MS to fundraise on behalf of the Society. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Andria at 515-270-6341 or andria.battaglia@nmss.org
