THE STORY:
Multiple sclerosis stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn’t. The National MS Society, Upper Midwest Chapter represents 17,000 people with MS in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and several counties in western Wisconsin and Nebraska. We provide programs and services for people living with MS and their families and drive cutting-edge research to find a cure.
We partnered with the Twin Cities 1 mile to give runners an opportunity to fundraise and bring awareness to the MS movement. Here are just a few ways your dollars make a difference.
Your donation of:
- $25 can provide yoga and exercise instruction or educational materials to people with MS.
- $50 can provide transportation to an MS club or group meeting for someone with no means to get there.
- $300 can maintain the operation of an MS support group for an entire year.
