HERE'S THE STORY:
Dear Friends and Family,
As most of you know, I am very involved with OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center, a non profit providing grief support services to children and adults during a very difficult time in their lives.
OUR HOUSE is very near and dear to my heart. I am a group leader and an Active Board member. On Sunday, April 29th, I will participate in my 2nd RUN FOR HOPE to raise money for OUR HOUSE. This walk/run is for all of our group members, alumni, volunteers and the members of our community to honor the memory of someone close to them who has died. It is a very moving day within our community. It is a wonderful time for alumni group members, both children and adults to reunite with their group members and to proudly walk in memory of their moms, dads, sisters, brothers, spouses, partners, grandparents, children and anyone close to them who has died.
I will be walking in memory of my mom, Marilyn, who I miss every single day of my life. For those of you who sponsored me last year, I thank you once again, and hope you will sponsor me again this year. I hope all of you receiving this will sponsor me as it is very important to me that I raise money for OUR HOUSE so we can continue to grow our wonderful programs. Also, I love receiving those emails letting me know someone else “cares”.
Last year I raised over $5,000 with your help. This year, my goal is to raise $10,000. Whether you donate $25, $100 or even $1,000, your support will make a huge difference at OUR HOUSE.
