Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy in Chicago provides a two-year, career-focused alternative to traditional four-year media arts colleges.
Tribeca Flashpoint's five disciplines, including Film + Broadcast, Recording Arts, Animation + Visual Effects, Game + Interactive Media, and Design + Visual Communication, are designed to erase the boundaries between the classroom and the real world. Through a combination of hands-on learning, expert instruction, and an emphasis on collaboration and professionalism, we develop well-rounded, highly skilled professionals who are ready to hit the ground running after graduation.
MORE ABOUT PRODUCTION-IN-ACTION:
Production-In-Action (or PIA) is the cornerstone of Tribeca Flashpoint's first-year curriculum. Throughout this three-week course, students are mentored by real industry professionals as they work together to create a multi-faceted, large-scale multimedia production, such as a live event, short film, video game, or television show. Students take a hands-on role in a project’s planning, execution, and completion, learning to think on their feet, solve problems quickly and professionally, and create high-quality results in an immersive, collaborative setting.
