BENEFITING: SOLAR ENERGY INTERNATIONAL
THE STORY:
Heather Andrews is well known in the solar social media community as @PVAddict and a dearly beloved member of "the solar tribe", who recently lost her battle against a rare brain condition that ended her life at age 33.
Heather was possionate about "solar" in more ways than one. Besides being a solar advocate, she was a union electrician, solar installer and educator, who loved life and enjoyed it to its fullest. She was a truly amazing young lady who had a special way about her, touching people's lives and leaving many lasting impressions through which her beautiful spirit continues to shine.
In memory of Heather's passionate dedication to all that is solar, Solar Energy International has recently announced having established the Heather Andrews Scholarship Fund, which will support a female SEI student in obtaining hands-on training and follow in Heather's footsteps to pursue a future career in SOLAR.
