Let's face it: Nonprofit community theatre is a nail-biting business. Ages before a single person buys a ticket or sits in a seat for a play or a youth performance or a concert, mountains have already been moved... and costs have already been incurred.
At Town Hall we pride ourselves on knowing where every single dollar goes. And we know that, ticket sales and tuition will only ever cover a portion of what it costs to run a truly outstanding, award-winning theatre.
For this reason, a theatre company like Town Hall continues to exist because people donate. It's been this way for us for over half a century, and it won't change any time soon.
Our donors are the greatest people in the world. They make the arts happen. They build sets, buy rights to great scripts, fit costumes, and literally keep the lights on. They enable the hundreds of students who come through our doors to have a truly unique, and sometimes life-changing, experience.
