BENEFITING: RAY OF HOPE INC
THE STORY:
Ray of Hope was co-founded by Fawn and Lynne Lowney in honor of their brother, Nathan Ray Lowney, as a result of his tragic death in 1994.
Nathan was outgoing and had many friends. However, he struggled with low self esteem. His struggles led to depression and sadly, he took his life on his nineteenth birthday.
Lynne and Fawn hope to create a means of betterment for those lacking a positive self image or have low self esteem issues. Ray of Hope will do this through a Scholarship Program, which will award individuals funding for extracurricular activities within our community. Ray of Hope also has funding for counseling or treatment, so individuals are able to obtain the help they need.
Our wish is to help others BELIEVE in themselves.
