HERE'S THE STORY:
Robert is an 8 year old Ugandan boy I met in Uganda two summers ago. He is shy at first, but quickly warms up to strangers. His teachers note that he is particularly bright at math and he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Robert is also in need of life-saving heart surgery.

FAQ:
Why is my donation going to Dwight Hall at Yale?
Crowdrise does not the capacity to transfer donations abroad. As a result, Dwight Hall at Yale, a registered 501(c)3 is our US partner organization. All donations will be transfered to an account earmarked for Robert at the Ugandan Heart Institute.
Who will be performing the surgery?
We are working closely with Ugandan Heart Institute at Mulago Hospital, and their partners located around the world to provide the best, most cost effecitve treatment for Robert. Uganda has close working relationships with several hospitals in India and has an established program to provide transportation, surgery, and after care for children in similiar positions to Robert.
