THE STORY:

I'm running my first ever marathon this October, and I'm doing it to support an incredible non-profit called The Trevor Project.
The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
Suicide is the second leading cause of death on college campuses and the third leading cause of death among 15 to 24-year olds. For every completed suicide by a young person, it's estimated that 100-200 attempts are made. LGB youth are up to four times more likely to attempt suicide than their straight peers, and nine out of 10 LGBT students have experienced some form of harassment at school.
The Trevor Project was founded in 1998. Since its inception, their 24/7 lifeline has fielded over 200,000 calls. They also provide guidance and resources to students, educators and parents via their website and their public advocacy.
Please help me support their amazing work. No amount is too small.
THANK YOU!
