THE STORY:
Can't wait to be a part of Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary's Save-a-Life Endurance Trek! On July 28th, I'll be hiking 26 miles on Yosemite's Pohono Trail to raise funds for Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary's animal healthcare fund!
Our team goal is to raise $15,000!
Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary was formed to aid homeless and abused domestic and farmed animals in the San Francisco Bay Area and the San Joaquin valley. Harvest Home assists local humane societies and rescue groups with animals-primarily farmed animals-who, due to their breed, their health, or their personality, cannot be adopted into permanent homes.
The healthcare fund is Harvest Home's lifeline for the care and treatment of the two hundred rescued animals that call Harvest Home, home. Veterinary expenses at Harvest Home add up quickly and it's not unusual for their vet bills to climb over $2,400 in a given month.

Finally getting around to donating. I watched the video on the half dome trek and I wish you very good luck, but the money is yours (HH's) regardless. You need to forget the vibrams and get used to the shoes you need to trek in. Trust me, hiking boots are no joke. 1 year ago
