Stamp Out Malaria is a campaign initiated by the international peace through education pen pal and service organization Project PeacePal. We are raising money to purchase and distribute mosquito bednets for our partners in West Africa. Stamp Out Malaria has its origins in 2009 when members of West African PeacePal communities were hospitalized with malaria, and US-based PeacePals were moved to help their friends.
Even in this age of advanced technology and medicines, malaria is still the largest cause of death in Africa, and bednets are the simplest, most effective and least expensive way to prevent this disease. The nets cost $5.00 each and are literally lifesaving.
Please donate today and make a positive impact in the lives of friends across the world.
In May of 2011, PeacePal sent 4,500 bed nets to Togo and Ghana. It was so sucessful, we are gearing up to do it again! Help us raise ONE THOUSAND NETS!
