Imagine Scholar works with truly inspiring students from the rural (and disadvantaged) Nkomazi region of South Africa. While I could easily list hardship after hardship these kids have encountered, it would paint an unfair picture in your head. These kids have risen above everything thrown their way, and have immersed themselves towards creating a better future for themselves and for their generation. They emulate optimism, strength, compassion, understanding, curiousity, and an untainted zest for life that many don't have.
While the educational aspect of the program is going fantastic, we have noticed that malnourishment and lack of clean water can at times slow our students down a bit. So here's what we want to do to support them even more: PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER FOR 6 MONTHS!
$477 = 6 months of clean drinking water + 25 healthy student bodies!
