HERE'S THE STORY:

GO THE DISTANCE! Beach Derby runners and walkers and program supporters can raise funds to assist families in transition with a “hand up” to get back on their feet. Your support provides individual case management for PSS participants; education and training support; transportation and housing assistance; food, clothing and household living supplies; and linkages to community networks of support. This assistance allows highly motivated, low-income single parents attend school and gives them the opportunity to work toward permanent independence.
