THE STORY:
Susan G. Komen for the Cure wrote -
Whether you are a walker or a runner, are going for the challenge of a half marathon or the full 26.2 miles, there is a spot for you on this team!
This year, you can join the team simply by signing up on Crowdrise with us - no MFTC team registration fee & no fundraising minimum (no maximum either!) - be sure to enter your address to your profile so that we can get a welcome kit out to you. If you raise $500 or more, you'll earn a Dry-FIt MFTC shirt and you'll be eligible for the prize program through Komen National.
We're working on loads of fun ideas for the team this year (prizes, raffles & gatherings) - stay tuned! Follow us on Facebook at Columbus Marathon for the Cure & Twitter at Columbus_MFTC. Email us with questions at columbusmftc@gmail.com.
So great to see everyone at the Race for the Cure in Columbus - your first training day for the Columbus Marathon! Next up, the Columbus Marathon RunFest at Huntington Park on Saturday, July 9th from 1:00 to 4:00pm - come by and say hi!
Check out the posted video interview with Olympian Carrie Tollefson and see Rose, Lee & Ashley at the 2010 Cbus Marathon - 4:56 to 5:53 into the video. Is that Ashley at 4:56 running by?
Join us in 2011, whether running or walking, each step will be together, determined to find the cure, and to go the distance. Every step brings us closer to a world without breast cancer.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Promise: To save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find cures.
In memory of Rosa Lee Stanley and cheering on Crystal Hanna to win her battle! I miss you Mom! I love you Crystal!! 2 years ago
