HERE'S THE STORY:
Susanne will be climbing Africa's highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro in July, 2011. Since Mt. Kili is 5,895 metres, her goal is to raise $5,895 for Sharing to Learn in South Africa which is coordinated by Denise Ortiz and her team. The money raised will go directly towards funding the operations of their Makuleke Community Library for 10 months.
Susanne is truly looking forward to meeting with Denise and her team in Africa as well as donating copies of her book, The ABC Field Guide to Faeries, towards their library. She knows that this is going to be a humbling and life-changing experience for her. Knowing that she will be climbing Mt Kili for such a great cause is going to help her reach the top. Please join her on this FUNdraising journey to help keep this Makuleke community library operating.
