Suzy Turner's Fundraiser:
Chop it Off for Charity
Suzy
HERE'S THE STORY:
Well... I did it! Check out the video over to the left to see what happened! Thank you so much to everyone that donated. I am hugely grateful!
About Suzy
Although Suzy is a Yorkshire lass at heart, she left her home town of Rotherham, UK, to move to Portugal with her family when she was ten.
The Algarve continues to be her home, where she lives with husband Michael and their menagerie of cats and dogs.
Suzy's career began soon after completing her A levels when she was offered the position of trainee journalist for a local English newspaper. Her love of writing developed and a few years later she moved on to become assistant editor for the region's largest English language publisher. Since then she has also worked as the editor of one of the Algarve's most loved monthly lifestyle magazines. Early in 2010 however, Suzy began working as a freelance writer and author. She has since completed her first two novels for teens, Raven and December Moon, which are part of The Raven Saga.
Chop it Off for Charity
Suzy says: "I recently made a huge decision to chop my hair off... initially because I want to go completely natural, for my white hair to shine through (!). Going pixie short might not seem like a huge decision to make but it is for me as I've pretty much always had long thick hair, so I am asking people to please support Make A Wish as I chop it all off for charity! I will also be donating my hair to the UK version of Locks of Love (The Little Princess Trust).
Make a Wish is the most amazing charity, so please read on to find out more...
